E-scape from Reality: London and Paris
Introducing a travel series where I share brief highlights from recent adventures. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do and always provides a healthy dose of inspiration.
After longing for a much needed vacation, we recently decided to venture across the pond. Our trip started in London, England followed by a few days in Paris, France. The trip was amazing and we had such a wonderful time.
One of the best excursions we did in London was visiting the Tower of London. The history of this place is incredible and it was a lot of fun exploring the grounds. For any Harry Potter fans (guilty!), the Warner Brothers Studio Tour London is a must see. No spoilers here as you’ll just have to experience it for yourself. Stonehenge is also worth the journey if you have the time. It was interesting to observe in person.
In Paris, a highlight was the double rainbow we saw while up in the Eiffel Tower. The rainbows encircled us and provided an awesome backdrop over the city. Photos do not do this surreal moment justice, but we will never forget it. Down on the ground, a night tour around the city in a vintage Citroën was a special treat.
The history and architecture of these two cities is remarkable. Looking forward to our next opportunity for a European adventure!
