E-scape from Reality: New England

Another road trip in the books. We went out to the New England area and the scenery did not disappoint! With stops in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine we saw quite an array of views and foliage. Having never been to this part of the country we were pleasantly surprised by how mountainy it was. It is pretty flat where we live so we really enjoyed being in the mountains. The fresh pine smell was an added bonus for the senses.

A highlight of the trip was driving to the top of Mt. Washington in New Hampshire. It was a bit scary (especially once the dense fog set in) but a thrill when we made it to the top. It was much easier to enjoy the descent.

Can’t wait to see what the other New England states have to offer.
