E-scape from Reality: Arkansas

In our quest to visit every state and as many National Parks as possible, our latest venture to Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas did both (and put us halfway to fifty states!). This was a unique experience compared to other National Parks we have visited. Situated amongst the city of Hot Springs, most of our sightseeing was within walking distance of the hotel. We learned a lot about the history of this place (which apparently was very popular with gangsters back in the day) and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at Quapaw Bathhouse. What a fun way to kickoff Spring!
